Get on your bike with Pedal Power

Cycling is one of the most popular pastimes in the UK with over 20 million of us owning a bicycle and 6 million of us cycling regularly, and Pedal Power is a campaign to encourage even more people to take to their bikes by making cycling more accessible and affordable for everyone, whilst raising money for the Bike Club consortium.

With the help of supporters such as four time Olympic cycling champion, Sir Chris Hoy, Pedal Power will bring a host of cycling-related activities to ASDA stores across the country.

And in the spirit of the Pedal Power campaign, ASDA CEO, Andy Bond, has embarked on a sponsored ride from Lands End to John O’ Groats starting on 25th August for approximately 10 days. The epic journey will see Andy cycle over 1,000 miles to raise money for charity. See where the money raised will be going.

How the £1 million will be spent

ASDA are entering an exciting partnership to bring Bike Clubs to communities in the UK.

The clubs will positively impact over 30,000 children and adults in the next two and a half years. Each Bike Club will be different, reflecting the needs of the local community for whom they are built.
